For applications where spatial access to the screw is limited, SDM (Small Diameter Multiplier) gearboxes can provide a solution. Thanks to RAD's advanced technology, the buttons will reliably perform their function for many years to come.

The SDM gearboxes can be combined with industrial-standard screwdrivers (pneumatic, battery-powered or electric) and deliver a maximum tightening torque of 2,000 Nm.

The tightening torque between 50 Nm and 2,000 Nm can be calibrated by RAD depending on the selected force multiplier.

The accuracy of the tightening torque and the repeatability correspond to the values of the selected screwdriver.

All SDM gearboxes are supplied with the following components:

• Tombstone mounting plate

• Calibration certificate according to ISO 17025 standard

A notice:

• In most cases, special reaction arms are required for SDM applications. For this reason, no reaction arms are included.
